Everything — every account, transaction and report — lives in one password-locked .fmgr file on your own disk. No cloud, no sign-up, no server.
Built international
Most finance apps assume one country. IPFA models the products people actually hold — by name, with the rules that make them awkward everywhere else.
Allowance gauges with flexible-ISA rules, LISA bonuses nested inside the overall cap, and a nudge 90 days before your mortgage fix ends.
Semi-annual compounding, 25-year amortization in 5-year terms with renewals, and TFSA room that carries forward and comes back after withdrawals.
Fixed-rate periods with the Restschuld shown at maturity, and Bausparvertrag premiums credited on your say-so.
Balance ceilings on regulated savings with headroom gauges, and a PEA-PME ceiling nested inside the PEA's combined cap.
Contracts modeled as contracts — not disguised as interest — plus profit-paying accounts and a Zakat report.
Effective-monthly rates in Brazil and Turkey, effective-annual in Colombia, flat-rate loans in India and MENA. Enter the number on your contract.
Stokvels, chamas, tandas and tontines — rotating savings recorded properly, with your payout turn on the calendar.
Numbers, dates and calendars follow your region — non-Gregorian calendars included — and NISA-style quota reuse is a setting, not a workaround.
A built-in Countries guide — already covering 66 countries — turns your country's real retail products into field-by-field recipes, each tagged as an exact match or a documented approximation.
The loan engine
Five loan shapes — repayment, interest-only, balloon, equal-principal and flat-rate — under four rate bases, with deferrals, weekly and biweekly schedules, and accelerated payments.
Term sheetToronto mortgage
An estimate — the posted amortization schedule is authoritative.
The whole book
Per-currency balances in one account, honest handling of sub-unit codes like GBp at import.
CSV in any regional format, OFX Direct Connect and FinTS bank connections, duplicate detection that survives conversions.
A bills reminder hub, calendar view, installment plans, and estimates marked ≈ until they post.
Category budgets and full envelope budgeting, with history to hold yourself to.
Securities, dividends, capital gains, and price tracking for gold and other commodities.
Capital gains with country presets, sheltered accounts excluded and disclosed, and a Zakat report.
Cash-flow forecasts that replay the real posting engines, plus what-if scenarios for rates and plans.
Goals with milestones on every savings account, and gauges for caps and ceilings.
Statement-by-statement reconciliation that keeps your ledger agreeing with your bank's.
Automatic local backups, cloud-folder friendly, with external-change detection.
Every screen and action reachable from the keyboard; accessibility is a feature, not a mode.
Everywhere. Deleting, importing, bulk edits — all of it can be taken back.
A design principle
Projected interest, converted totals and pending bonuses wear a ≈ until the real figure posts. The ledger records; it doesn't pretend.
Blow past an allowance, a ceiling or a credit limit and the gauge goes loud and red — never silently clamped back to 100%.
A missing exchange rate withholds the figure rather than inventing one. Where the model must approximate, it understates the room you have left.
Coming soon
